Default YouCamp - Another clever idea

Marrying Campers with Property owners together.

I've seen this done for years, but its all been local knowledge or friends of friends type arrangements.
I love it, as all the local councils seem to just lock up areas, ban over night camping or sleeping (which in some places is fair enough)
But they do little with the potential of the campers.
Although some councils are seeing the benefit and providing 24hr or 48hr stop over places, often strategically placed to benefit the community.

Our local Football reserve is a baron waste land with the best ocean views in town.

Great to see an idea that may benefit property owners and camper alike
Although, you would have to get the Toilet issue sorted out.

I know of a few places that you need dynamite to dig a hole in the rock hard ground.

Also regrettably not everyone cares how well they dispose of their waste hence the restrictions.
I think our local showground allows camping but only to those who provide their own facilities as you find in a mobile home with containment for 'Grey Water' and an approved type Porta Potty for 'Black' waste.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

I don't think this will work well with campers looking for "Facilities" but for the rest of us
it's a wonderful idea. I for one hate caravan parks and the like.

I cam across the youcamp idea a few months ago, ideal for me as i have a camper trailer and camp fully self sufficient.
Plus i dont like the idea of spending $60 plus in an overcrowded caravan park per night.

Personally, i have no idea why people even stay in a Caravan Park, unless its is totally Off Season and empty.
But the families and Kids seem to love it.
Yet the prices for 3 weeks in our Caravan Park over the Summer Holidays, you can rent a 4 bedroom house and have a toilet and shower 150 other people don't share with you.

How do you find Wikicamps puca?

I had it 2 years ago, it was one of the worst Apps i've ever tried to use, just canned it in the end.
Use Camps 6 without so much trouble.

If I had a bush block, OB, You'd be welcome to come and squat under the shade of a coolibah tree. If your hole is dug and filled properly, I don't see a problem. It's mainly city slickers who have no idea that is the problem.
