If you haven't seen this NZ made movie then in the words of Molly Meldrum, do yourself a favour.
Very funny with Sam Neil as one of the main characters.

Its actually a shame the trailer spoils a lot of the funny lines in the movie.

Really, its a 2minute 35 second trailer, if it spoils it, sounds like its hardly worthwhile watching it then

I watched it today, it's not a bang bang shoot 'em up, nor is there sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. A good family movie with no "language" in it either. Most enjoyable and the story was quite reasonable too. The acting is not likely to win anyone an Oscar, but the characters are believable with a subtle poke at the American way of doing things. The "larger than life" characters reminds me of some of the people I knew in the NT.

Good to see this movie getting some views. It's always nice to see good, small movies do well.

It had a great run at the cinema - we played it for about 4 months!
My review here:

I liked it a lot more than . I liked Boy, Taika Waititi's films always run the razors edge and Boy was just a little painful for me. My preference is for Eagle vs Shark. (Pretty sure I had a review of Eagle vs Shark somewhere around here but I can't seem to locate it.)
