French man smashes $56,000 worth of iPhones in Apple store
Huge dummy-spit over refund refusal.
On Thursday a French Apple store refused to give one of its customers his money back, and boy did he get his revenge.
He went into the store with a steel ball and calmly began destroying iPhones and a Macbook Air while onlookers froze with shock.
He placed the smartphones flat on the table and smashed them with the ball, one after another.
In a video posted to YouTube, he speaks in French about his rights as a customer and said he was unhappy with how Apple handled his case.
The Independent reports the man said “Apple is a company that violated European consumers’ rights. They refused to reimburse me”.
“I told them ‘give me my money back’ they said ‘no’,” the man said.
“So you know what is happening? This is happening.”
He then proceeds to smash the expensive phones.
It is believed he caused almost $60,000 worth of damage in the store.
He still didn't get a refund.

I know how he feels , I had a company supplied Apple phone which was gifted to me when i resigned. I switched it off to fit a new SIM card , and it went into activation lock straight away. despite me showing them the company's reciept and knowing all 3 activation questions they wouldnt unlock it , claiming the answers were mis spelt !! I smashed outside the sydney Apple store in front of numerous people and chucked it in the bin. felt goood too

What i find interesting, is NO ONE is trying to stop him, they just watch on....
I think deep down, everyone understands this persons frustration and for once, they are watching someone stick it to the man
(even though it was a pointless exercise and will only be a very costly personal protest)
Now, watching someone do that in a Aston Martin dealership would be something else!!!!

When I was in my late teens, a local electronics store sold me a (expensive) complete lemon of a portable boom-box. After owning it for only a year, it had been repaired 3 times and had been in the 'shop' for nearly eight months. The store refused to give me a refund.
At the time, I was working on a buffalo station that used gentian violet (a bright purple stain) to treat stock injuries. I dreamed about setting off a low-impact 'bomb' that would paint the entire inside of the shop and workers purple. Never followed through on the plan though. Just as well.
I am not without sympathy for this guy. Hopefully the Judge will feel the same way.
I get a bit like that whenever someone asks me for help with iTunes.
I reckon google should offer to pay his future legal costs and maybe even give him a 'droid phone (as long as its not a samsung)

Well he has done what I am guessing over 90% of us all wished we had the " BALLS " to do :P
