Does anybody get the 12563 Vertical TP of...>>
Getting Ch9 as L-Bird1 on 12551 SR 3751... It seems to have moved from Optus D1.

Look Here -> |
They moved there along with channel 9 feeds as well, last week, the main mux of channels needs a receiver that handles 16 apsk
Got the 12551 signal OK.
Getting intermittent signal from 12563V..........did several scans and eventually got a signal long enough to scan in eight channels including Channel 9 Melbourne (2), 9HD Melbourne, 9Gem, 9Go! (2), 9Life, and Extra.
Signal not consistent enough to lock on and get audio/video.
Might have to play with the LNB skew.
90cm dish feeding SRT4922A....which is supposed to handle 16APSK.
Seems channel 9 have taken up all of the vertical tp space. Foxtel's Supercars + Tens supercars coverage of Bathurst which were on Vertical have been pushed to Horizontal on 166°E, and the "Red Button" feeds (in car camera's) were on 152°E D2 for the shootout yesterday.
FreeSat V7 Combo, Amiko A5 combo, UltraPlus X-1000HD+, Mediastar HD8200s
2.4m motorised mesh, 1.2m on D2, 1.2m on D1, 95cm on IS19
To view the Ch9 Multi Transponder 15K (12569MHz Vertical) require a receiver which supports DVB S2X . At this time only commercial rack mount type receivers are available. Technology moves on faster then ever. It's like having to get a new smartphone every 2 years. If you are in the market for an high end sat meter like Promax. You'd better wait for the one which supports S2X...
From the document at
"DVB-S2X has been introduced at the same time as the new efficient HEVC video coding scheme. It is expected that
new satellite receivers will combine these two technologies to make the delivery of HD and especially UHD services
more efficient.
The first DTH prototype receivers are being shown at IBC 2016, preparing the next step: DVB-S2X to the home.

Theres no confirmation that its using DVB S2X. The Multistream format seems to be causing the most problems.

friggin nonsense isn't it, some of this dvb-s2 gear is still quite expensive
I have a theory that not only is 12569 16 APSK, 8/9, MIS but that they recently PL scrambled it. I could view it before but now Crazy scan doesn't lock the transponder. At 3 days or more per mode (Combo etc..) to find the brute force the code I hope they will stick with it for a while. Driving me mad. Moi Pro AMD and TBS 6903. Using a second 6903 on the desktop as well. 4 x 6904 for standard non Mis uses.
H is V BTW
Any help appreciated.

Your symbol rate seems wrong.

That is the usual minimum symbol rate when blind scanning, and I was watching the channels with that setting a week ago it gets updated in the bottom section when locked. Something has changed in that time. The streams were clear and I was setting up TVheadend to stream them and they became intermittent then were unable to be scanned at all. Perhaps it is just 9 playing silly buggers. Vast is off this time of year (2 PM to 4AM) and the foxtel boxes from Metropolitan Brisbane are hard to source. AK15 and IPSTREAMING.com are a nightmare for being intermitent. The cricket was a good stream.
Would be nice to have Gem etc.

So ABC on D1 has gone 16Apsk multi stream (Still on D3) and now SBS is going the same way next month. I will have to find an affordable decoder for all the remote sites here. Getting D3 with a 3m here is not a great signal, we use a 6.2 so it's OK.
I see there are new receivers available now from Perth or NZ. $200 form NZ or $400 from oz for same unit ;-)
I have been fighting with this for ages. First chan 9 and now ABC and SBS.
I have seemingly had a slight win.
TBS 6903 The more expensive professional type can do multistream. 6904 can not get the streams.
DVDDream (site down for the last 2 days) could work with a few tweaks but was not stable.
As I have the TBS MOI Pro I downloaded the new image for the system. (the original one had no multistreaming)
Fired up TV Headend and put in the settings, and away it went. Scanned the TP and up came the channels. Streaming away happily.
Perhaps it seemed so easy because of the amount of things I had tried before.
I am still trying to get both tuners to work at the same time without breaking up. Should work in theory.
The mux on 12568 V has been dropping power in evenings until morning. Several people have reported this already
DVB Dream 3.3 and 3.4 will load channel 9 without a problem in manual search, you just need to set the substream
I'm in New Zealand and want to receive 12569V. I have a Strong 4922B+ receiver which supports DVB-S2 16APSK. Dish is 80cm offset. The Lyngsat coverage map suggests a 60cm dish should be fine. But I cant get a signal lock on the 12569V TP. Can anyone in NZ confirm a dish size that works? TIA
Thanks. I read the thread. From what was said, I should be able to manually enter the PIDs shouldn't I? The Strong has that functionallity
But without a signal lock, there is no point trying. Hence my question about required dish size
I note FEC is very high, which will increase required dish size. But to what size?
I have a 1.2M offset on AS4 and 2.6M prime focus on C1/D3, but would prefer to only move them if they are big enough
TIA
