    Default HDMI splitter

when I used the old UEC decoder (2nd one that died) I used a hdmi splitter so I could also watch vast tv in the bedroom. Worked fine just couldn't change channels. Now I have a Humax , set it up again with the splitter and have to switch off the lounge room tv and repower the splitter then it works in the other room. In the moment I switch on the lounge tv the sound goes off on the other tv. Strange, I thought. Shouldn't have anything to do with the decoder. But like I said it worked with one and not the other.
    Any ideas, please.

    Default

I expect it's an HDCP issue with the splitter.

    What make/model/specs is the splitter?

    Default solved

I just used another splitter (both are cheapies) and got it working. I think it had something to do with the order of connections. Just lucky maybe.
    Thanks for your help.
