Default Mr 672a has suffered a massive stroke

    Hi all,

    This is Mr 672a's daughter.

Just wanted to let you know that a month ago he suffered a stroke and couldn't remember the password or anything until now. He has been in rehabilitation for speech therapy as for the first week after the stroke he had no speech. It was impossible to read anything he was writing. Finally over the last few days his memory has improved and some of the confusion has begun to fade.
Today he was released from hospital and will have months of speech therapy. His faculties are 100% and its just his speech and communication as he is having trouble getting the words from his brain out of his mouth correctly.

My father has had a rough trot. One heart attack, two TIA's and now this. But knowing my father nothing will stop him from doing anything.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the info.

Please pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I guess the stroke must have happened some time after October 3, as he was posting up until that date.

Great to see that you are "back in the chair" and posting on the forum.

Get well soon, Mr672a, my sister suffered a stroke at about the same time of my accident a few years back, the effects on the brain were very similar. Mine was 21% brain damage, hers was a stroke. You will improve slowly over time. Just don't push it! Hang in there mate we are all praying/rooting for you!
