Which state are you in ?? I am in Perth and can get it on a 3.7 meter dish but as its DVB-S2 and has a low symbol rate ( also Vertical transponders are weaker)I am guessing you may need at least a 3 meter dish and a good LNB-F as well as spot on skew>

NO I just tried it. Just about anything on Vertical platform is NO go on a 2.3M. I heard a guy that cant even get it on a 3M Dish.

(Edit for comment NO spelling mistakes this time. I told the Specialist that by Xmas I will be reasonable OK. I say reasonable NOT the MESS that I was in 6 Weeks ago)

Thanks for the replies. I am in Rockhampton, Qld. I have a 3.5m solid motorised dish. I can receive all of the vertical channels except this
one. I have tweaked everything, from slew the LNB to moving the dish to moving the LNB in and out, ie. change the Focal Length. Nothing
makes any difference. Looking on the sat maps, there is a strong signal. Some of the SR are less than 2000, which I can receive ok. My
receiver is Strong SRT 4922B+ only 2 months old. Bought from Perth, by the way.

    Anything else I could try?

do you know any one with a different receiver ?? I dont like strong that much. I use a freesat receiver works well on the palapa Xcrypt but my other receiver Kepnix K1 doesn't lock or even see it so my guess is the sensitivity of the tuner makes a difference.
Maybe borrow a receiver (any brand) and see if you can get signal lock.

Hi. I don't know anyone who would have a receiver. What brand is your Freesat? Are you able to open the channels
with Xcrypt? The other thing is, is the LNB sensitive enough, though I can pick up most vert channels.

Hi I use a V7 Combo but a V7 ,V7max or V7 combo even a V8 is fine yes they open Xcrypt.. Lnb can make a difference I had a friend who couldn't get IS19 very well (kept dropping out low signal) all we did was swap out the crappy Zinwell LNBF with a new one and problem solved . so its possible a different Lnbf would help. (just don't use a one cable solution type) as Palapa D is an extended band satellite ..

I can only pick up two faint C band vertical transponders from Palapa D on the far south coast of NSW, but I'm using an old Zinwell.

Do you have any recommendations for an upgrade?
4.6m C band dish, numerous Strong boxes, GTsat V8 Nova and even an old BMAC somewhere ---

Hello again. I now have that transponder at 72%, I am trying to open the channels without any success. I have been scouring the internet for information. All the keys seem to be out of date.

    Any ideas?

Really .. What receiver are you using ?? I am in perth using a Kti 3.7 + a freesat V7combo and it locks fine. I do know you need correct
skew and a decent Lnb-f though.
