Does anyone know if a "802.11n Wireless USB LAN Adapter WiFi" works with Octagon 918 or do you have to use a cabled LAN?
Don't think so. Just use a wireless AP in client mode.

another name for a WAP ?
netgear wge111 is the one I have, cheap and plug & play
it's basically the same as an AP in client mode.

I was thinking more a USB dongle. If that works?

Not much work has been done on getting the Wifi USB dongle to work there was some TEST images way back until the zigbee came along so for now WAP is the way to go
Updates for the sf918 have drop off as the focus has been on the
Locking SPA Channels
I cant get a lock on all the SPA channels with Octagon 918.
TP 11762 H 27800
I get
SPA (pids 1011 1012 8150)
SPM (pids 1021 1022 8150)
SPH (pids 1031 1032 8150)
AUSA (pids 1011 1012 8150)
I cant get a lock on
Pids 1041 1042 8150
Pids 1051 1052 8150
When I edit the pid (on the AUSA channel because its a duplication) it shows the correct pic for a split second then changes back to pid 1011 1021.
When I scan the pids it shows black screen with just Audio.
Any ideas?
