I found when making the shortcut you have to point to the mk6 executable then add the name of the rom in quotations ie C:\Games\Aristocrat\MK6Emu.exe "5 Dragons".
I am a super noob with this stuff sorry mate. I have tried making shortcuts but they are not working. Do I have to make a shortcut of the rom (.zip) or the MK6.exe. for example if I wanted to make a shortcut to play 5 Dragons what would I have to name the shortcut and what would I have to make a shortcut of. Im so sorry I know this sound ridiculous but im really new to all this stuff.

Post 12 may have saved you some work....
Haha
Thanks
Thanks heaps, I had the original leaked MK6 (?) set with emu -> 50 Lions, Indian, Orchid, Atlantis - but this is on a whole new level... Cheers!
I now don't have to play that awful Queen of the Nile Adobe Flash version of the pokie :-/
FYI, this is readily playable on Apple Mac, using Wineskin 2.6.2 + WS9Wine2.22 engine.
You need to install MFC42 via WineTricks, and then download Win32dll.dll from here ->
unzip and copy or move to drive_c\Windows\System32\
plays great at default resolution on my 4K @1080p HiDPI
PS. I used winecfg control panel to set windows version to XP.
Hope this helps someone here...

Hey all, I'm running the MK6 emulator on a PC when I spin and get a win why does the win counter always reset to zero?
anyone know how to fix the watchdog reset?
Got this running on a mac too. Only not an intel one! This also works with Wineskin Winery on M1 machines!
Method for M1 mac (I am running on an 8GPU 8Gb model air):
1. Install the Wineskine.tgz from the github page for Wineskin Winery (under the releases)
2. Launch it, and install the WS11WineCX21.1.0 Engine
3. Create a new blank wrapper, and call it Pokies or whatever you like.
This part took some time so I just watched a video on youtube while it created the wrapper.
4. Open the new wrapper - it'll be in you Applications folder (the one under users/your username/applications)
5. Click Advanced, then Tools, and use WineTricks to install mfc42 just like themacmeister did above - click dll, then scroll to mft42, tick it and choose run.
6. Install "The Unarchiver" from the app store, and unrar the mk6.rar
7. Navigate to the folder called "Mk 6 Emu Original Set" in the unzipped rar
8. Highlight the win32dll.dll file and press Command+C
9. Browse back to your users/your username/Applications folder and right click the wrapper and choose "show package contents
10. In this folder, double click "drive_c" then "Windows" and then "System32" and press Command+V to drop the dll into the system32 folder
11. back on the Wineskin advanced screen, click Config Utility (winecfg) and a window will appear. Change the windows version to Windows 2000 and click Apply, so the sound will work.
12. click the configuration tab, click"Install Software", select copy or move, and then navigate to the Mk 6 Emu Original Set folder and choose open.
13. The app should have chosen the correct file to execute, so click "Test Run" If you are greeted with the "MK6 Emulator V2.4" screen, press B to browse for roms, and load up a pokie and play!
I can't wait to take my "portable poker machine" to the pub tomorrow
Don't forget to turn your speakers down too, these machines are pretty loud compared to other stuff, and I got blasted by reel clicks and pokie music at 2 am. Thank god I live alone :P

I forgot to add, once you have completed the test run, the only way to quit the games that I have discovered is to click the red button like one would normally do on a mac before they discovered the Command+Q key combination, which doesn't appear to work.
Also after completing the test run, you'll be able to launch the emulator without first seeing the configuration screen by just double clicking the wrapper - to get back to the configuration screen you'll need to right click the wrapper and choose "show package contents" and run the wineskin from within it.
To get into the service mode of the pokie to change the denomination so you can put $100 into the pokie at a time to increase playtime and decrease monotonous inserting credit time, first press collect until "Attendant pay of $xx.xx" appears. Now press F4 (you may need to set the function keys as... well function keys in the keyboard prefpane first). This will bring up a set of tickboxes. Tick the "Jackpot" box then untick it to zero the credit meter.
Now tick "Audit". From here you can adjust the machine settings and even test all the sounds (handy to make ringtones by looping the sound back into audacity). Changing the token amount under the "Machine Options" is how we increase the per credit value. Some changes prompt for a particular cage to be open, this is the "Logix" tickbox. Its usually needed to change the machine denomination and the token amount (to us, token means $1 coin, which pokies used to take before they all switched to bill acceptors).
W + E move up and down, R is select option. From there it should be also fairly obvious what buttons are to be pressed as the screen will tell you which ones can be used to perform service tasks, and it will only illuminate those buttons on the control panel.
edit: keyboard battery dying. Hopefully I caught all the typo's
edit 2: forgot to express my gratitude to mol666 for providing the link to the games. Off to the pub with my portable poker machine

Hi, Been mucking about with the MK6 Emulator on CoinOps Collections. Sort of have it working but can't get the Mk6 Emu to open Full screen. Any Suggestions? Also, Can anyone get them working properly on Windows 10? I can get them to run, but W10 has no Windows 2000 Emulation, so i get no sound. If I run them through windows 7 with 2000 emulation no probs. I don't want to run through a virtual machine as i want them to work through the CoinOps Menu. TIA.

So i've got it working in Launchbox/BigBox... If someone could help me tidy up my Autohotkey it would be much appreciated.
all I did was copy and paste, don't know much about writing code.
Even know it didn't capture it, the emulator did launch to my full screen 3440x1440.
It for some reason capture it non stretched

Send !{Enter} ; Press ALT-ENTER to enable fullscreen.

I see you have the pokies opening Full Screen, I just cant get it to do that, they only open for me in the windows, with the mk6 emu window opeing underneath it. Gave up for the moment, just can't get it. I also see you have the dreaded audio problem as well, we need a windows 2000 emulation pack for windows 10. I've asked microshaft but no one there answers anything.
AutoHotKey eh, never heard of it before, but looks interesting, could I see one of your scripts for a pokie? This might be what i am looking for.
