    Default Wanted: UHF DMR radio

    Hi all,

as per title i am looking for a cheap UHF DMR radio, one that I can use on Amateur UHF band (yes am licenced appropriately)

The kicker is I need something relatively cheap. Have recently gone and had some extensive surgery to my right hip. Wishing it had been a total hip replacement but sadly was talked into a 'repair' only scenario. As such I am now laid up for 12 weeks, no work so the income has taken a big hit as I am down to minimum wage from employer, losing all my weekend payments etc

So what have you got ? I have a TYT MD380 on loan from one of my mates but I would prefer a mobile unit and not a hand held.

    Location is WA 6055

You are probably aware, but if not, make sure any DMR radio you purchase is tier 2 compatible.

Roger that MTV, will be checking the models are compatible before handing over $'s :-) Been licenced since 1988 but the DMR side of the hobby is mostly unknown territory for me to be honest, thankfully a few club members are well up on it and I have been doing some reading, not much else I can do at the moment apart from giving KODI a hammering at the moment

    Cheers

I have two SRM9000 TK which support P25 with an addon board.

The OP is asking for a DMR radio, not P25... totally different.

Let's know how you get on... might be worth starting a thread on it.

Remember to turn audio AGC and GPS off when accessing VKDMR.
