    Default Pls Help - XBOX makes my pc freeze

    Hi there

    I have the first generation xbox which i have connected to my pc via crossover cable and use flashfxp to upload to xbox.
    recently i have updated/changed my computer and now everytime i go to switch off the xbox after i have done my ftping my pc freezes and i have to reboot my pc to get it going again.

    Could anyone pls advise of a fix or workaround and tell me why this is happening please.

    maybe try differ ftp prog ..? long shot

    ive never seen it happen, but it would seem that your computer is freezing when losing the connection. not seeing this happen I cannot give you a fix, but try disabling the network connection on the computer (right click on the taskbar icon and select disable) now see if this helps...

    assuming this is a network problem, perhaps you could head over to the network section of the site and try there also?

    right clicking on the taskbar icon and clicking disable worked i will use this for now so thankyou however i would still love to know what ius causing this

    glad to hear it worked mate. I am not sure why it is doing this, but post a question up in the networking forum and see what they rekon....

    Get a later copy of flashfxp or try reinstalling it might help.
    When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
