Default Car crash Cam with WiFi?

My Son said today he had heard of a Crash Cam fitted with Wifi to enable the files to be downloaded to another devise (SMART Phone of course) without the need to either remove the SD Card or connect the Cam to a Computer.

Is there such a beast, who makes it and very importantly HOW MUCH ?

    Hi Gordon_s1942

I know of 2 The blackvue dr650gw-2ch and Thinkware f770.

The Thinkware if it's hardwired has built in low voltage cutout and the Blackvue needs a add-on power-magic to do the same.

The Thinkware unit has better night vision,update-able safety cam warning and lane departure warning but the rear cam is a extra.

I can't speak from experience but a ten second SEARCH returned the following (although you said 'crash cam' perhaps you meant 'dash cam'):

    Check for yourself....

I have the Thinkware f770 (both front and Rear) installed in my car. (Sorry, I have the F750)
Best investment I've ever put in a car.

In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Sorry I called it a 'Crash Cam' instead of a Dash Cam because thats its most important use.
When I asked about the devise having WiFi capability, I forget to ask if it had either or both Bluetooth and Wifi but which one doesnt matter.
I currently have a wired Uniden with 2 front cameras and a Rear Camera but if the rear camera is plugged in, one of the front cameras is turned OFF.

Thanks everyone for your replies and I will pass these details onto him.

Mutanti, what did that one cost you and did you buy it locally or from China?

Mine only has WiFi, but I must admit very happy with the unit.
It's already paid for its self.
I had a slight altercation with a Falcon - it cost him a $200.00 drivers side mirror
I think mainly because of his attitude my insurance company kicked the living shit out of him and proceeded to write up over over $6000.00 of repairs to my Mercedes.
I won't bore you with the details but he side swiped me, I had both front and back Hi Res camera views, he claimed he didn't make contact with my car lied to the cops, lied to both his and my insurance companies etc etc etc.
The 6K was made up by replacement drivers window glass, replacement drivers side mirror, full respray of the right hand side of my car plus trim and seals.
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
