Bosch Solution 6000 and Brooks EIB184T Smoke Alarm
I have a Bosch Solution 6000 Alarm. One of the zones is a Brooks EIB184T Smoke Alarm. The communications light appears after some time usually around a day but it could be shorter. If you reset the smoke detectors the communication error disappears, but after some time it reappears.
Is something wrong with the smoke detector? I have tested the smoke alarm with the button and all good.
Thank You
Craig

There is a number of options here.
Does the red light flash or just constantly on
Is the Smoke detector hardwired to the security alarm or connected by Brooks RF Module
What zone is the smoke detector connected too and is it a zone doubled?
When you test the smoke detector by the button does it trigger the security alarm sirens?
Was this a DIY job or security tech?

Hello Secure : Thank you for the Reply
Does the red light flash or just constantly on?
The red light does not flash and is constant, but if I press the test button even if red all the sirens activate.

The smoke detector is hardwired to the Alarm
What zone is the smoke detector connected too and is it a zone doubled?
The zone for this smoke is number 12 (which means it is doubled, as the Solution 6000 has eight zones or 16 doubled, the doubled zone 4 is a Bosch PIR....for further information the system has 8 PIR zones 1-8 and 4 smoke alarms ...the other 3 smoke alarms are NESS 100-034 (as I never want to change batteries) are on zones 9-11, two internal screamers with one outside siren).
When you test the smoke detector by the button does it trigger the security alarm sirens?
Yes upon testing the security alarm sounds, this is same for all smoke alarms.
Was this a DIY job or security tech?
The installation was performed by myself (I have programming and quant skills) and my electrician (whom has much experience in these alarms), I then contracted the an Alarm Installer to check the installation and test all smoke alarms as I wanted to ensure that in the event of a fire that all is okay...all smoke alarms if activated sound the sirens and the wiring is correct (based on what the Alarm guy said).
Are the smoke detectors latching or non latching base?

Wiring Diagram for Ness but not for Brooks?
I have located the Ness Smoke Alarm wiring Diagram and the wiring looks good, I have not located the Brooks Smoke Alarm wiring diagram but from the picture in the previous post, I can see the NC and C wired okay??

Brooks alarm
The brooks smoke alarm info states:
When interconnected to other 180 series alarms, an alarm from one sensor will trigger all other interconnected alarms
within one second (only the triggered alarm will have a latching red indicator) Interconnection is dependent upon the
selection for standalone or common alarm operation
Maybe the issue is a breakdown in communication between the Ness alarms and the Brooks alarm? But it is strange why the red com error light appears after a day of being reset?
