Default Teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug

Trying to find out if this set has any value. I can remember it in my late mother's china cabinet from about age 6 so it's pretty old. It is made in England and may have been brought with her when she immigrated in her teens but has no hallmark. Anyone?

Mate; beauty & value is in the eye of the beholder I guess, however IMO they are fugly.
Just going thru the same process here with Art, China & Silver family heirlooms, some worth lots & some worth nothing.

My best advice is to take them to an action house & ask them if they are worth anything to sell. They will not buy them, however will advise if they are saleable & what sort of price/reserve if you go with an auction.
    Cheers, Tiny

I'm with Tiny, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Take it to a dealer that specialises in antiques and fine art. Any old auction house will not give you any idea of true value. If it is, truly worthless, then take it to jo bloggs auction house and you might make a killing.

Just because there's not visible watermark on the thing does not mean that there are no identifying marks. it could be something like a dent on the rim.

Only marking is 'Made In England" stamped on the bottom of all and possibly the letter B hand written on one piece.

To an expert, that might be all that's needed to identify the product. It might actually be a "find" given that it is made in England.

    What do you think:
It seems that this casting was quite popular(not rare) with many different colours from an identical mould. The slightest chip and it is would probably be 10x less value, although the quoted price in that listing seems a bit exaggerated, maybe a rarer colour scheme.

I would be aslo careful about throwing china away that is made in China

    Absolutely! Especially if it's Ming.

So many variables. Since I'm in the middle of packing the house to move (that's how I found it again) I'll have to leave it for a couple of months then follow it up. I notice the pot in the link also has a small ink mark which might signify the maker. In the mean time packed very carefully for moving.

I actually think they are beautiful pieces I would take them to an antique dealer for appraisal
