    Default Heath Ledger dead

It appears Mr Ledger has been found dead in bed by his housekeeper. According to police , there are no suspicious circumstances. Maybe drugs ?

NEW YORK - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment in a possible drug-related death, police said. He was 28.

According to the New York Times, Ledger was found naked and unconscious with pills strewn all around him in an apartment owned by actress Mary-Kate Olsen. Police sources told the Times that the death appeared to be a suicide.

It is indeed a very sad day, I am pretty sure there was underlying reasons, but it is never a good day when someone dies... famous or not

Another artist pissing away his god given talent with drugs. Robbie Williams will be next. It must be so hard with the world at your feet, kids to live for with no problems in the world apart from being a "Tortured Soul" that you have to top yourself.

    Thinking exactly the same thing.
Of course it will probably increase movie ticket sales of people wanting to watch his last film....in Australia anyway.
    Happy to be here......still

I would be waiting the autopsy report before assuming anything here...
We do not know what happened...
It pisses me off that everyone is so quick to assume he died from a drug over dose...accidently or on purpose...
Besides...we will NEVER EVER know what really happened.
If it turns out he did infact kill himself well I dont think we can judge...depression is a horrible thing to have..it stuffs your mind and your thoughts and its not you at all...it is a selfish condition, one which makes no sense to anyone but the sufferer...this I know first hand...i have lived with it for years.
Who knows if this is how Heath was...lots of people can hide how they feel...hell...he was an actor
Which ever way you look at it its a tragedy...no matter how or why it happened.

I think the reports of pills strewn across the room is a pretty good indicator of drug overdose. Credit to you for not taking the same path he did in snuffing himself out. I know depression or bi-polar is a serious condition but it takes more courage to stick it out and fight it than the alternative. I just cant be doing with the fact a lot of these celebrities blame their depression on fame.

The reports of pills all over the place is false...this has been confirmed by the police...
Its not me who suffers depression either...
Depression is a chemical imbalance of the brain...the sufferer IS NOT themselves...they cant think straight...they DONT have "normal" thoughts...
Sometimes their brain wont let them "stick" it out...its not as clear cut as people think...its friggin hard which ever way it goes.
And its still not confirmed that he "snuffed" himself out...
