    Hi just wondering if a wii with serial no. can be modded and if so a rough price. LAH10252308

    They can all be modded. Expect to pay somewhere around ~ $120 from a decent shop.
    What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

    Chances are that serial would have a D2C chip.
    Chips for these are a bit cheaper than the D2C2. Around Adelaide, the prices seem a bit expensive. I've heard most quotes seem to start around $180 here.

    Could be worth trying it yourself. You can get a suitable chip for around $25. If you're not confident with soldering, grab a clip to go with it for another $25, add shipping and you'd be looking at less than $60 all up, including a triwing screwdriver.

    The companies I've used are Techsick and Modsupplier. They have both been really good. Chips practically always arrive the business day after I place the order.
