Hi urban_s0ulja, I'm looking at connecting my media centre pc and nintendo wii (both in the lounge room) to my wireless network/internet. Would the TL-WR541G 54Mbps Wireless Router be what I'm looking for?
If it is then how much to send to Perth and is the aerial removable?

    Thanks
    Alan

    Hey Alan
thats exactly what you need, the aerial is not removable but i dont think you'll need to with a residential installation. Signal strenght is really good on these units.

Please PM me your post code and ill give you quote on frieght usually about between $10-$12 though.

    cheers

Can this unit act as a wireless bridge?
Also do you have a cheap but reasonable ADSL2/WLAN/VOIP modem you would recommend?

these units can act as a adsl bridge as well, they can be set into a number of different modes.

I also do have a few adsl 2+ modems, the dynalink ones are in my opinon the best, but the tplink ones arent far behind.

send me a pm if you want prices on those items.

    Thanks

Got a possibly newbie sounding question for you about the TL-WR541G
It has 4 ports for ethernet cable connection, and/or wireless.
So if I have 4 computers hooked up to it by ethernet cable, can it still connect to a laptop with wifi, or does one of the cabled connections have to be disconnected?
Or, can the wireless part connect to say, 3 or 4 wifi laptops, but that then must share the bandwitdth from the wireless part?
Or is it just 4 connections, either 2 wireless and 2 cabled, or 3 of 1 and 1 of the other?
    Hope this question makes sense?
And postage to 3155 would be how much please? (Just normal, not express)
    Thanks.

These routers support upto 4 computers through the wired connection, you can add more using the inbuilt wireless router as well. So no four is not the maximum this unit can support.

Freight via TNT Overnight Express to 3155 is $12.
