Default Motherboard and Power Led problems

I just bought a new Pc motherboard i purchased was Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2L
On the tower there is 2 wires for Power Led + and - on the motherboard there is 3 pins for the Power Led, Ive tried to connect these all different kinds of ways but i get no power at all to turn the pc on.. There should be 1 pin left over but which one?? The user guide to the motherboard does not help

Anyone here experience something similar or know what im doing wrong?

its not the power led you need to get it to turn on mate
theres a power switch seperate from the LED which is the light that comes on in the case when the computer is switched on.
refer to your motherboard manual, do it under a light such as a table lamp and you shouldnt have any problems.

    looks standard
youl find the pw-led will be the 3 pins next to rest
how many pins is your pw-led wire? 2 or 3?
    1 is + other 2 are both - , should suit 2 or 3 pin plug.

i mean, there not in this pic. there is 3 pins next to pw-led +,-, pw-switch+ in the pic.
