Unlock codes for garmins

PPC Warez is handing out free unlock codes for any garmin unit. All you need is a map code and unit id.

Map codes can be found in the post over @ PPC if not check you registry

Garmin hardware is great but their security sux for it's customers
like so many other implementations like Macrovision that get in the way.
I'll bet a lot of Garmin owners have had their GPS delay them leaving for vacation.
Break or upgrade a GPS unit, and you've lost one out of two strikes on your Garmin licence.

You can buy the map pruduct, decompile it with free tools, and recompile it to
the same ISO format used by MapSource, or send the file with another free tool.

So in the end, all of your map files are unlocked, can be sent from that PC to any Garmin unit,
and a crack wasn't required.

This is weird.

I have the Nuvi 660 but can get the keygen to work.

I keep getting the "cannot unlock maps" when the nuvi boots up.

However I can get it work with an SD card.

I would much rather try and get the maps on the nuvi itself as opposed to the card.

Any ideas?

NB I am using Navigator 2008 (Australia) - non NT

With the keygen, select Custom Mapset then enter the code 271 and see if that works.
