Default Help with setting up Ness 3G dialler with Bosche solution 16 plus.

Hi everyone, my first post here to try and get some help with setting up the ness 3G dialler to my bosche 16 plus. I have followed the instructions as detailed here: . However when i do the comms test, i end up getting a system error p001 which when i looked it up says comms route 1 fail. I have tested the dialer with the amaysim sim card and it dials the 13450641 ok with normal handset but when hooked up to the 16 plus phone port, it is not sending out the test report. Could someone that is knowledgeable that can help me out. Thank you very much! My installer just says the ness 3 g dialler is not compatible with the bosch 16 plus but I checked with Ness and they say it should be ok...

Update: So i am able to get the alarm to call my mobile when i press test button on the panel. when i pick up it has this beeping noise. But when i trigger the alarm it doesn't send me sms or call.

If you a using the ness 3G dialler and have the Bosch panel set to do SMS it will not work.
You can set it up for domestic format(07) and it can ring your mobile only with the ness 3G dialler
Or upgrade to the Bosch 6000 panel and use the Bosch 3G plug on module then it can use the GSM SMS format(12)

Hi Secure, does it mean, if i set to domestic format (07), i will receive a call from the alarm when the alarm is triggered and it will just sound like a series of beeping noises. Is there a way to acknowledge the call because when i was doing the test button on the panel, it keeps calling me every few minutes. Thank you!

Yes it will do a series of beeps when it calls you.
Best if it has been set to domestic default in menu 7-0-3. This will stop other random reports not required for domestic option. May require some reprogramming after.
To acknowledge alarm call press # for a few seconds during the silence bit between the beeping.
Can also reduce the call attempts. menu 5-4-5
If you know what you a doing refer to the installer and user manuals.

Hi Secure, i changed the setting to 07 domestic but for some reason, when the alarm is triggered, it doesn't ring my mobile at all. When i do send test report, it will call but when i tried pressing the #, it doesn't seem to receive the acknowledgement. Any ideas? Thank you!

When you do the test report call it doesn't need to be acknowledged. Just hang up.
What location did you put your mobile number in for it to call for domestic reporting?

Only need to set the mobile number in Menu 5-1-5

Also make sure dialler is enabled in Menu 5-2-1

Hi Secure, so do you mean just leave the set domestic number empty? Thank you.

Hi Secure, I tried no number in the acc dest1 and only in set domestic number but it still doesn't call my mobile when the alarm is triggered. Can you think of any other settings that i may have missed? Is the test route meant to be set to Dest1 + log? Thank you.

Maybe seek a local installer to check further.

Thanks for taking the time to help. I will try to look for a local installer. The one that installed the original alarm isn't very reliable. says he has too much on his plate so he doesn't show up to his appointments i made with him.
