    Default netgear nighthawk d7800

    steer clear of the latest firmware no.24 after installing,it keeps losing sight of a connection to the internet.after 3 days of losing connectivity indicating it was a faulty phone cable.i was able to regain a solid connection after installing a older version of the firmware

    Didn't know you could go backwards with firmware , handy to know.

    i thought they would have fixed the problem but they have not if you don't have old firmware you can usually find it on the makers download page

    I used to use a Nighthawk router that would just slow down for no reason. I had to load different firmware, sometimes old sometimes newer, to get it to work properly again. I always felt should have been called the Nightmare....
    The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

    other than the firmware i have had no problems with it
