    Default Residential alarms/cctv smart intergration

Why are Bosch or NX Pro not able to intergrate with google/apple home or third party? NX Pro has Z wave/Zigbee but all proprietry. Surely they see where the market is going. Bosch spent 3 months coming out with a colour keypad for 6000 (which looks terrible tbh), is that it? Home users are expecting more and i don't blame them. Any thoughts.

Yeah agree with the new keypad style. It was more then 3 months, I saw another design about 2 years ago.
You could integrate via relay control, depending on what it is you want to do.

In the grand scheme, there are very few people using Zigbee and Z Wave. Anything beyond stock intrusion monitoring and maybe gate/roller door integration in domestic installs is niché. I imagine there's not enough financial incentive for them to push for that. The big money for them is large companies with small to medium facilities. You could always call Digiflex and pitch your thoughts to them. They're receptive to feedback.

Unfortunately this is true, but as one of those few I am slowly upgrading everything to Z-Wave devices and I'd love a way to trigger "Smart Home" events based on camera motion detection (have the outside lights come on, etc.).

If you want more integration/adaptability you would be better off going with something like Inception, but that will only integrate with hard wired things I think.
How will you benefit from integrating it? What do you want it to do?

    My M1 does exactly this.

Turns lights on. Arms and disarms my cameras.

Also been playing with the inception but that doesn't have the automation like an M1 does

M1 would be similar to Inception - majority of residentials wouldn't want to pay the premium for it.

Easy enough to program Inception for light control etc. amd has HLI for Control4 (although I have never used it).

Just comes back to what you actually want to do with it.

M1 is cheaper than the Inception and can do so much more for automation.

Cant even get the inception to display a simple access granted on the keypad.

I do a bit of it with a Solution 6000. It's a very versatile panel but there comes a point when 8 macros just aren't enough. Inception is a great system but last time I played with one, the process groups couldn't be edited, which was a pretty limiting factor. You're better off jumping to Integriti, Challenger or similar.
