UPDATE: Note that the later versions of the "official" European CPS for the GP340 (same as HT750) such as R03.11.15 have removed the +/- 5 MHz out of band programming feature

Version R03.10.03 includes the +/- 5 MHz out of band feature....which I have been using although I get "codeplug too new" on radios programmed with later versions of the CPS...although only 1 radio in my collection has been programmed with later CPS.

Dieter has provided a modded version of R03.11.15 CPS (see above) to re-enable the +/- 5 MHz out of band programming on this later version of the CPS.

UPDATE: My GP340 / HT750 LB2 35 - 50 MHz radio is now operating on both 10m 29.6 MHz and 6m 51.51 MHz..so I have dual band operation. The only mod I have done is to hex edit the lower band limit to get down to 29.6 MHz. I have not operated the radio higher than 51.51 MHz. I have not attempted to align the radio softpots (except the SQ level in order to lower it from the default "high" level ) using the Global Tuner program.

At 51.51 MHz the radio is TXing 6W and RX sensitivity and deviation is very good.

At 29.60 MHz, the radio is TXing 4W. Deviation is a bit low but OK.... the radio is set to NB 2.5KHz dev...so if I increase this to 4/5 KHz dev (20/25 KHz spacing) that should improve things. At 29.60 MHz, the radio is operating -5.4 MHz out of band. RX sensitivity seems OK. I have not been able to test RX sensitivity using a weak signal. However, TXing a strong signal on 29.6 MHz and using no antenna on the GP340, RX sensitivity seems in line with my Icom R20...I need to dig out my sig gen!! On 31 MHz (4 MHz out of band), RX sensitivity is actually better than my in-band 10m CDM.
