Any one want to lend Salim some money, the man who gives and keeps giving. err take and keeps taking
While most agree they would like to see him hit with 'something' worthwhile, each conviction is adding up and he was 'Found Guilty' of something either Monday or Tuesday with a sentence to be delivered later.
I think there is more chance of him being declared an 'Habitual Offender' by the NUMBER of charges laid than by the severity of the Charges themselves.

There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"
Just another tactic
But man, it shows his level of self knows no bounds
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
Salim Mehajer is simply following a well worn path made by others like Allen Bond, Christopher Skace, Austar to name a few who when in Debt, BORROW, BORROW MORE.

back in the green trackys again
Breach of bail conditions.
His lawyer is planning an appeal, saying the breach had no malicious intent.... but a breach is a breach.
At least he's in familiar surroundings... and likely a few familiar faces.
This recent hiccup will go down on his record even if the charges are dismissed and by now, the list must be long enough to need an Index..........
Even though much of what he has been charged with appears to be only fairly minor, collectively I think he must be getting close to being classed as an 'Habitual Offender'.

News is he got 18 Months 'Good Behavior bond' for making those threats against his ex but he received the good news via Video link from where ever he is being held on some breach of Bail conditions.
He was taken into custody last Friday 11th of May but no mention was made of exactly what conditions he breached or when they would be dealt with.

He already had a 3 year good behaviour bond over the assault on the taxi driver.
The breach of bail conditions were over his use of mobile phones, which was covered in the article linked in post #205
Thought it was the 'Phone Use' but wasnt sure.

And he’s out again. Slippery as an eel.
The question is: where is all the money coming from for legal representation? Surely, if he is bankrupt, he should be represented by a Legal Aid lawyer appointed by the courts.
He's a muslim...................thats it.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
There is no requirement forcing for anyone convicted of anything to have to use 'Legal Aid' or any particular Lawyer to represent them.
I would guess our Salim is possibly relying on financial assistance from Relatives, Friends and others in his community who see doing this would be of benefit in the future if they too were perhaps involved in matters that wont bare too close a scrutiny.

Salim sent to jail.

He is truly the gift that keeps on giving: .
Salim Mehajer will spend almost a year behind bars after a Sydney magistrate convicted him of electoral fraud, six years after he rigged a local government election which catapulted him into public office.
Sorry WhiteOX. didn't see your post. Delete if necessary.

Was this scum born in AU ??, seems like a light sentence for such a serious offence IMHO

TVGuy, it doesnt hurt repeating this News one iota........
It looks like the apology he made to the Magistrate didnt win him any 'Brownie Points' as he's ended up with a custodial sentence which he should be fairly familiar with by now.
I wonder if this will be his first time in a Main Stream Prison like Lithgow, Wellington or Goulburn?
Once he's 'sorted', they tell me Shooters Hill or Kirconnell are quite pleasant this time of year (for a Polar Bear)

finally looks like the teflon is starting to wear out
and considering he still has other case's before the court and
no money and no lawyers will be interesting to see how many more yrs he will
be in the real lockup and not silverwater holiday camp.
