Your problem will be the skew difference between D1 and Intelsat 19, the 9 stuff hard enough to lock on a correctly sized and lined up lnbf !

Interrstingly Dream Multimedia now have a DVB Sx tuner available as an option for their latest range of Receivers such as DM7020hd, DM7080 DM820HD and DM900UHD
Typical though they are not sold with the receiver but are after market options.
Quoted as doing 16apsk.
I’ve seen them on EBay, Amazon Germany and the Dream Multimedia shop online from Duahbi.
Annoying problem i have found when blind scanning satellites is the scan get's stuck trying to load data transmissions.

Yes hazman I have found the same thing with my Ultraplus X1000 as well. It won't get past certain data transmissions.

UltraPlus X1000HD+has no issue with blindscan itself but the real issue it will scan all kind o transponders include internet transponder and others unknown . The set wont pass this transponder if it founds such transponders . There is no receiver in the market can even find such transponders (please check it out) just write the transponder which cause this issue and check the lyngsat website
The set is made to scan multi stream 16APSK which s doing perfectly in cost of some unknown transponders which it can not go through
Solution :
Pease do blind scan vertical or horizontal only and check the polarity of the trouble transponder (definitely one polarity will go through without any issue)
in the other polarity please use MANUAL Blndscan and avoid the trouble transponder just skip this transponder by inserting the frequency before or after this transponder .
We hope the supplier can fix this issue with SW update without disturbing the 16APSK multi stream scan.
Yes there is.....The set wont pass this transponder if it founds such transponders . There is no receiver in the market can even find such transponders (please check it out) just write the transponder which cause this issue and check the lyngsat website.

I disagree, if a receiver cant make any sense of a t.p in blindscan mode, then after about 1 minute it should move on and continue with the scan.
but yes a firmware should be able to fix it.
please state the t.p its stalling on. Is it D1 12537 V Sr 36700 Fec 1/2 DVB-S2 QPSK ACM ?

I also have this problem with my UltraPlus 1000HD on D1 and D2 a timeout period makes a lot of sense.I disagree, if a receiver cant make any sense of a t.p in blindscan mode, then after about 1 minute it should move on and continue with the scan.

Can anyone confirm whether the Zgemma H7c DVBS2X is in fact capable of receiving the high symbol rate ABC/SBS on D1?
As mentioned elsewhere, I can't find any SR info in the specs for this receiver.

High (47500) and low symbol rate capabilities are part of the dvb-s2x standard, so you would expect it to....

Seems that way. I've sent a few enquiries and will report back.s/r above 45000 seem a rarity at this time
Could rush in and get an Ultraplus for the job, but I'm just trying to future proof a bit. like many veteran sat watchers here, I have boxes full of obsolete receivers.
Er, um, I don't suppose anyone wants to buy a Plessey BMAC?

anything with the STiD135 demod/tuner should cover everything.
I can't find any device using this chip yet.
Regarding the Zgemma H7c and its suitability for Optus D1 multistream, I have received the following reply from an Ebay (Australia) seller (Iptvboxes)
I have a friend interested in this set so I'll pass this on.Hi,
Thank you for your patience. It seems like the broadcast frequency and standard change implemented by both SBS and ABC has changed the transmission standard to DVB-S2. The H7C comes with 2 built-in tuners essentially, the details of which are as follows:
1x DVBS2X
2x DVBT2/C
These tuners are in line with the new standard adopted by both ABC and SBS. We would expect it to work on the H7C. However, having said that, we cannot guarantee that it will work. The best we can do is that we can offer to have the item returned to us in the event that it does not work as per your requirements, with the return postage paid by you. In the event of the return we will process a full refund for you. But please make sure all the warranty seals are intact and the packaging is maintained in good, presentable condition.

All working no hangs so far, will keep testing over the weekend when there are usually many more feeds.A new S/W for UltraPlus X-1000HD+ will be released soon to improve the blindscan without losing any of its functions.
Please update your set using Network update with the new S/W 3.2.90 and place a feedback.
