Just going back to the multistream issue, my recommendation would be the VU+ Zero 4K it has support for DVB-S2X and Multistream naturally.
Has a smartcard reader and CI slot as well $240 brand new, only one tuner though however it has a USB port so you can attach more if needed.

I think the symbol rate for this device is 2-45 MSymb/s
    It's very frustrating trying to find a dvbs2x with a higher s/r.

Interesting didn't even think of that however, as far as I know nothing in our region really exceeds that so you should be fine. Intelsat highest is 30000

I personally use the TBS cards and haven't had any issues but I have a Vu+ Solo v2 I use for PayTV since I needed something with a CI slot. Might be looking to sell that though.

Ah crap that sucks I get them over DVB-T so I never checked that, I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software limitation there's conflicting reports about it on the vu+ sites from a quick glance hopefully it gets unlocked or maybe a 3rd party image already has

If they won't do over 45000 then they are not dvb-s2x compliant...

    False advertising...

I can't seem to find a single 2X card that does over 45k tbh, TBS professional card does but that's like $600, also doesn't do 2X.

    yes it does suck.
You fork out $250 for a dvbs2x decoder and 6 months later transponders are using higher s/r.
I am pretty sure the s/r is hardware dependent .
I am going to hold off getting a new decoder until something decent comes along.

I think you'll be waiting a long ass time since I'm having a hard time finding a decently priced DVB-S2 card that will even go over 45k but that's fair enough.

Might be able to find some cheap Chinese stuff on abb maybe if you're lucky, but the quality of these tuners is always questionable

I have searched , and searched, and.... no data, I don't even know what demod chip it uses. I think it may be a broadcom, but that's a guess.

I just had a play and it does let me enter 47500 to do a manual scan.

    That may mean nothing though....

Hoe, is that the tuner for the ZGEMMA?

    16APSK But who knows.

    I think this

might be what sbs and abc will be using. It's pretty advanced tech.
