    Default Bitcoin 2x

Will it replace the current standard?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Do people still fall for these scams?

Bitcoin is not a scam at least not more than FIAT dollars.
    It is all about trust.
People decided to trust US$ all the years which is technically just as virtual as Bitcoin but now some are distrusting US$ and starting to trust 'decentralised' Cryptocurrencies.

The problem I see is that there is some kind of central organ maintaining the Bitcoin system that is deciding these things and if they can implement new codes(or forks) and just change everything like that, the trust factor diminishes. Someone is controlling it and that was what we wanted to avoid.
BitcoinCash was supposed to address these congestion issues. Instead it just became another crypto coin (like thousand others) but in form of a helicopter drop which equates to devaluation or inflation (however you want to see it).

It still could have worked if people accepted it and used it, but instead it got dumped for BTC. I actually held on to some of mine and wanted to trade for more (and should have when it hit 0.05BTC but I was sleeping )
This new hard fork is a nasty thing because it creates two tokens and a lot of mess.
Historically when a coin hard forked, the old coins had to be swapped for new ones and the old coin was dead, but forcing everybody to swap their BTC is technically not feasible with these volumes.

So whatever these guys are up to, I still don't see how the community will accept it when they didn't accept BitcoinCash and BitcoinGold.
While it is very true that transactions with the original Bitcoin are becoming a PITA with very long confirmation times.
