    Default Inner Range Inception

    Hey Guys,

Has anyone had any experience installing the IR Inception system.

First time playing with one and have all the access control and security etc. set up and working great.

The problem I am finding is configuration for the siren. Using the onboard relay output #1 for the siren but can not find where to set this up for the siren activation.

Some help where I should be looking to configure this will be appreciated.

Apart from that, everything else works flawless. Good little neat package.

    Thanks

I'm doing alot of these now, they don't have a onboard siren reply or bell output therefore they need to be wired to the relay inline with the positive output on the inception, with the negative side into the common, the other part is the siren needs to be added in and setup to trigger when in alarm.

When i started doing these it was a bit of a learning curve, they do work well and the new inception keypad looks great aswell.

The inception also don't have a dialer and can only report via t4000 sim module or email alerts.

I was trying to figure out how to add (siren) as a trigger. It is connected to the relay output.

We are monitoring via the IP Multipath receiver.

    Thats fine.

Just wire to any of the outputs and in options you can set the output to work as a "generic output".

Once that is zone in area options you can add the siren in under "siren output".

There is no on board relay for the siren or strobe. you can set up triggers but by default once you add the siren output in there is no need it works like a normal siren, you can then set all the options for it ie. siren time length etc.

Best is to use a separate output for each device ie. strobe - output 1, external siren - output 2 etc.
