Hi,
after some expert on xbox systems.
got a modded xbox, installed a 500gig drive using AID 4.10??
spent yesterday transferring 100gig over to it... and just then it died and upon reboot the data is not viewable via ftp...looks like its still there as the amount of space has been reduced BUT what now?
anyway to recover it?
has it gone? just transferred some other stuff and its visible? what's going on?
anyone seen this before and can offer any suggestions
look I'd like to recover it if possible....its not crucial just movies (doco's mostly) I dont understand why it was there this morning,
transfer some other stuff and then gone.
edit: just had a look at another directory and that shows up nothing, and its been on there for months. WTF!!!!

the bios needs to support a large f drive only
or f and g drive
decide on how you want to setup and use a bios to suit first
How can you check what cluster size the Xbox Harddisk is formatted to.
i.e. 16 or 32k once its been done.
dont think you can once its formated
you could test by writing a file of only a few kb and see how much you loose
thanks... have cut my losses... again data was not important... just doco's that had been sitting around for ages.... still spewing a bit but not suicidal...
will make sure to setup correctly on next format....
thanks all for the wise words
ps... was setup months and months ago... nfi back then
