Where in Australia are you from?

ahh woops yea sorry, had seen some posts from US based guys so wasnt 100%
Im based in Hervey Bay QLD, great spot to live.
Am in the process of getting ready to move into our own place and plan on settling down for a few years and now whilst on holidays am in the process of researching and reading up on heaps of stuff to set up our house with CCTV and looking at network setup as well. Soo much info out there and as i figure out one question it leads to new ideas and new questions lol.
We have a small family with a new addition on the way in Jan so thats got things pretty hectic as well. I get into home brewing spirits when i have the chance and a lover and collector of bourbon.

Yep... there's some regular posters from USA, but also representation in the membership from numerous other countries as well.
Hervey Bay.... agreed, lovely place. Visited there a few years ago.
Hope all goes well with your move.
Welcome from "the other side".... of Australia, That is. Hervey Bay is a nice spot, I have many friends up and down the coast around there. Daughter and her family live in Brisvegas so am often up that way. My eldest, who lives in Darwin, is a Scotch, Irish, Bourbon and other distilled spirits aficionado he often brings a nice drop down when he visits, too. With a young family, you probably don't have too much time for hobbies. What do you do for a crust?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
Yea have lived here on and off again for about 10 years. Brewing is great, havent had the chance in the last 2 yrs or so but still have everything in boxes ready to get back into it all once we move and have some more space.
I work fifo in remote middle of australia, but am on holidays now for a while so am glad to be away from the desert whilst summer is heating up out there.
I spent years travelling back and forth between Darwin and Adelaide. The worst thing that they ever did was seal the Stuart Highway. I did a few jobs out on the mines and must admit, that life did appeal, however, most of the jobs I did were short term.
