    Default Optus D2

Does anybody have a current list of transponders all the ones online are really out of date.

I'm blind scanning at the moment but since I don't know but I'm sure to miss things.

A blind scan will find them all, except some feeds which need to be in use at the time of scanning.

It's still predominately religious channels etc.

I figured it out in the end my LOF settings was way off for my LNB

LyngSat is really out of wack btw, much more accurate.

Is there any threads about Irdeto encryption here I can look at?

What specifically do you need to know about Irdeto?

Wondering if it's possible to tune some of the Irdeto encrypted channels on D2, don't see anybody selling pay services for D2. Wonder why they're encrypted at all.
I remember ages ago the original Irdeto got broken and stuff, but that was like over 8+ years ago now.

Basically I've got some dishes so just feed surfing looking for some cool stuff. I've got two solid dishes pointed at Optus D2 and Optus C1/D3 atm
Looking at getting my 3rd in a good spot to get Intelsat 19. Although the only interesting stuff there is the uplinks for the FTA channels, I guess.

I've also got a bigger mesh from way back I was going to put back together but all the satellites I used to know about for getting a footprint seem to be gone these days, any recommendations?
Or are those three the only ones worth it any more?

Most on D2 are religious tv channels but also have Feed on there to and Lyngsat is no good for them. Best to do is a blind scan like MTV said. Sat and Sun morning and arvo

Yeah I'm having a lot of fun with EBSPro and TSReader, D2 is pretty boring except for the ABC master control feeds.

Might have to crack out the other dishes for Intelsat 19 see if I can find something cool from the other networks.

There's a lot of random pop-up feeds for horse races and other sports on there if anybody is ever interested, you'll need a decent dish for them though. Signal is dicey

TVP Polonia more than anything just curious, was strange to see some encrypted feeds on what is pretty much a FTA satellite only

most of the pay channels that were there in the past have long gone and shifted over to iptv delivery.

    Ah interesting
BTW if anybody is wondering what this transponder is, 12408 Vertical 44999.708 QPSK 2/3 DVB-S2. It's IPTV over satellite, unfortunately it's nothing playable it looks like internet traffic.

Technically speaking... if it's internet data... it would be just be internet via satellite.

IPTV only relates directly to internet delivery (or some direct cable services).

If TV content was coming direct off satellite, it would just be satellite TV.

Yes that's just internet via satellite, but you can get broadcasters sending transport streams encapsulated in TCP/UDP packets off satellite as well.

I just used the term IPTV here since that's what all the folks in America call it, there's some nifty software called IPCleaner that can extract the transport streams out of these kinds of streams if you ever encounter one. I haven't in some time though.
