Hills R8 with VoiceNav panel - Panel only gives option 7?
I just inherited a Hills R8 alarm system with a VoiceNav panel in my new property. I have been given the master code by the previous owner and was hoping to confirm it with a walk test (no danger of setting off the alarm). However, when I use the menu button the only option that is available is #7 (outputs). I can't use option #4 (system test) or anything else for that matter. The manual doesn't give any troubleshooting information at all. Is someone able to assist? Thanks!

Maybe the code given is not the master code. Just a general user code.

I don't even get the opportunity to put in a code. It is supposed to ask for the code after the menu option selection, but it doesn't even give me an opportunity to enter any menu except #7 (which doesn't require a code).
I am hoping this doesn't later turn into one of those "how do I reset the master code" threads...

I was thinking that there was a master panel in the installation box which I would need to use, but turns out there is not. I tried entering the code into the wall panel and this seems to have unlocked all the menu features. Maybe something was in an armed state previously.
