    Default Tech Laptop

    Hi guys,

My very old laptop is dying.
Have been using it for the usuals like Titan, Solution Link, DL900, and IP cameras.
Saw another tech using a savvy Surface Pro the other day.
However it seemed to have limited ports, esp lacking in ethernet port.
    What would you recommend?
    Cheers.

I have just been through this, I went for a Lenovo Yoga, it's a laptop / tablet hybrid thing. Most importantly it has 2 x USB and 1 x Ethernet port which are disappearing off a lot of the new laptops. Not a bad price either

I've just bought myself a new tech laptop actually a refurbished lenovo t430s with SSD hard drive....minimal outlay, i've found lenovo to be more robust then other brands and hard wearing, still have an old R61 working perfect and its at least 10 years old.

I paid $300, i don't see point in buying a expensive laptop for work as it will get dirty and live in the car anyways most of the time.
