Re read all posts above so i don't ask repetitive questions, was mentioned an orange wire be connected to the parkers so unit auto dims, can this be confirmed?

Have so many wires hanging out the back of this unit that i have no idea what they are for but,
Radio works a treat, wifi is connected, all accessories are in place
Today's program, connect camera, re read instruction book and go into settings to alter settings as required
    So far so good
P.S do i worry about the red wire at the RCA connector at unit head if connected to the reversing light at rear?

    Illumination
I have not used that option on any of my installs
At times it would be handy.... But i just use the drop down menu

I might check it out though now you mention it

From memory, i think that wire or pin was missing from my plug set and i needed to buy bootlace end and fit it into the plug
So i left it out... I think... been a while mate

OK, Radio is better than expected, reverse camera working (picture was upside down, couldn't alter via the software so physically turned the camera upside down, problem solved), blue tooth working on mobile but not OBD (Nissan Navara, any clues!). Wifi working, GPS working, forward facing camera cannot find any info to operate it??
Off to Eonon forum, but any advice taken
Only curiosity was i would enter items to not have them work, turn off ignition, go inside, walk out side turn on and all operating, go figure
    Good recommendation Ol'boy, great value

I actually thought you could rotate the picture from the rear camera, its the hidden menu i thought?

I had to reverse my image, it's left was right and right was left, but top and bottom was correct.
I changed it in the menu
But it was hard to find

As i said, walk inside, have tea, walk out side and turn on unit, OBD starts working!!
Now for the forward camera, will have to down load an app for that, no mention on their site

Sounds like you're doing a great job
And using more features than I have.

    Glad you're happy with it.
It's great you can keep upgrading and changing/adding to the applications without having to buy a new unit....

If its the USB dash cam you just use the DVR button to operate.

Wish it was as simple as that, just watched a utube re my model and that was all he did, but ain't a DVR button on my the app list and no instructions in the manual or with the camera
Do i have to down load it?

He also had a button for AV1 and AV2 that he could switch from reversing to full time reverse camera which would be good as you cannot see f/áll through all the rear canopy windows

Also just went and tried to enter Car Settings-Factory settings and type in 126 as per the utube, ain't got those settings either
Wanted to change a few things around!!

    Hmmm, rooting?

Have my camera connected to the reverse wires as well as the trigger wire, yet it wont auto trigger when i put it into reverse, can you elaborate as to how you got around this?

what i had to do was work out which was the trigger cable on my
canbus then i had to cut it and connect the trigger from the radio to that.

as for the power for the camera i spliced into the reverse light on the car where the globe is.

fandtm666, sorry to be so thick, cut the trigger wire at the unit, did not make any difference. this guy on Whingpool had the same problem, this is how he solved it
    :

all fixed. removed the C pillar/parcel shelf support. splice 12v supply from cigrette lighter in the boot. added a 3amp relay with 30ma coil current runs off the reverse bulb. camera and signal wire runs off relay and ground to chassis. working perfectly finally.

Just to reiterate the problem, have reverse camera, but have to push av button, radio goes off. Have to reset back to home and turn on radio etc again. I don't want No2 son fiddling around as he drives, to put it nicely, he is hopeless

fandtm666, don't waste your intellect on me, have it working, you think this is bad, should have seen me in the dreambox days, it was the cctv wire not the av in wire, which i had previously played around with but had not got a picture, also reconnected trigger wire and goes straight into reverse picture when reverse is engaged with out turning off other apps
    Thanks again for your help

For my reverse camera i have to connect the head unit lead with the aerpro canbus lead and the camera power lead then it worked, no need to hook into the tail light or even earth it.

loanrangiel, did you ever get your dash cam working
Have physically installed it but find no app to operate it, or do i have to down load a third party app?
