Default E series Falcon oil filter removal tool.

Can anyone recommend oil filter removal tool that has worked well? Needs to be extension type as access is limited.

This is the best oil filter tool I have ever used & just by a quick search it appears that Falcon users find it great too.
It can be used with 1/2" or 3/8" drive by removing the centre.
I think I got mine at Repco or AutoBarn, was a long time ago. They have them on ebay as well though.

I agree with Tiny, got one 'Somewhere' and it works those filters that hang straight down.
Not so good on those that mount on the side of the engine block as the mudguard wing can get in the way.
With those type, the easiest way to undo is use a 2 foot long 1/4 inch shank screw driver driven straight into the case of the filter and use as a lever.
Just make sure you have a suitable container directly under it as Oil pours out of the holes.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

I find those ones with the fingers can bend when the filter is on tight, Ricks ones are great but if your not doing this sort of stuff every day, expensive.

If have found on all the E, B and F series Falcons that a plain old school loop with handle wrenches are cheap and work quite well.
