Thank heavens for Global warming, or there'd be snow (TWO weeks into the month of April, FOUR weeks after spring) here in the US - Upper Northeast, Upper Midwest, Southwest and the Rockies! Good thing PRESIDENT Trump did NOT pull out of the Paris Accord, costing the US taxpayer $100,000,000,000 (that's BILLION) per YEAR.
OH Wait . . . PRESIDENT Trump DID pull out of the Paris Accord !
Global Warming has not been affective !
The NWO (aka Soros?) is not sucking the US taxpayer dry for a naturally occurring weather change that has been going on for centuries (EONS?)!
Wonder how much Bahamas was getting back for that $100,000,000,000 (that's BILLION) YEARLY donation?
In case you're not "INCH" friendly, 198.5" is 5041.9mm of snow!

Enf, I can't remember the last time we(here, where I live in the US) had ANY snow(not just "dustings", but heavy wet and blizzard snow) in April! Usually by early/mid March it's done!
How is it possible if indeed "GLOBULL WARMING" is warming up the planet.
. . . and down in Oz it seems the opposite, last week when I asked about the Oz Austech members in the wildfire area, some members posted how unusual it was for temps to be that warm going into your (Southern Hemisphere) winter!!

Here where I am on the Great Dividing Range, elevation of 1000 metres (3000 feet) so far its been mild.
We look to two specific dates for the change of seasons. One is Easter which is based on the Full Moon, NOT the calendar and 25th of April only because its a 'Public Holiday' and easy to use as a reference.
Usually by the end of March we may have experienced a minor Frost or 2 in low lying 'wet' areas but so far this year, Zilch !!
I am having some health problems and I can feel changes as minute as 100th of a Degree, F or C !!!
But, over all its been generally 'Fine and Mild' as they say.
I refereed to using the Full Moon because many Farmers use it as a guide for sowing crops because the Moon does have an effect on the weather.
Rainfall here is always erratic as Australia is the Driest Continent and while you can be up to your earlobes in water in one area, 10 times that area hasnt seen a drop of rain in a decade.
Reports are many towns west of me are facing concerning to seriously worrying water shortages because it aint bleddy rained......... Some of these place rely on it raining several 100 kms (10kms = 6 miles) away to flood the river to flow past their Town and fill the dams but that aint happening either !!
I am not convinced the Human race is totally responsible for this situation but changes are occurring and 'We' should not be doing anything to exacerbate the matter.
As a 'Yard Stick' I believe my area averages 900 mm/36 INCHES a year, but I doubt we are getting more than 2/3rds of that currently.
Bring 'in the Mountains' our rainfall is generally more misty fog than real rain drops but even that hasnt been happening to often.

Been a lot milder and rainless than usual. I think global warming = more extreme weather - just like your snow. Lets see what our winter brings.
State of the Climate 2016
Australia
• Australia’s climate has warmed in
both mean surface air temperature
and surrounding sea surface
temperature by around 1 °C
since 1910.
• The duration, frequency and
intensity of extreme heat events
have increased across large parts
of Australia.
• There has been an increase in
extreme fire weather, and a longer
fire season, across large parts of
Australia since the 1970s.
• May–July rainfall has reduced by
around 19 per cent since 1970 in the
southwest of Australia.
• There has been a decline of around
11 per cent since the mid-1990s in
the April–October growing season
rainfall in the continental southeast.
• Rainfall has increased across parts of
northern Australia since the 1970s.
• Oceans around Australia have
warmed and ocean acidity levels
have increased.
• Sea levels have risen around
Australia. The rise in mean sea level
amplifies the effects of high tides
and storm surges.
Future
• Australian temperatures are
projected to continue increasing
with more extremely hot days and
fewer extremely cool days.
• The number of days with weather
conducive to fire in southern and
eastern Australia is projected
to increase.
• Winter and spring rainfall is
projected to decrease across
southern continental Australia, with
more time spent in drought.
• Past and ongoing greenhouse gas
emissions mean further warming of
ocean temperatures.
• Sea-level rise and ocean acidification
around Australia are projected
to continue.
Looks like some Americans can't tell the difference between weather and climate.
Or maybe Donald Trump wants to get into the ski lodge business, and has taken the necessary steps to make it profitable.

well we are into mid april and we just had a few days in the low 30's
that is not autum weather.
the storms over the last few years have been more intense and longer fire
season.
Climate change is more that ohh its hot here and ohh its cold there
because the added temp rise in one spot can cause the cold
to be more intense else where because of the air currents
moving around the world.
but just like sexual orientation - politics - religion everyone will
have their opinion and wont change their view just like all the reasearch
done by so many they will always skew the parameters to give them the
result they want. At the end of the day before any real proof turns up ill
be dead.
Reality Check: What do countries spend on climate fund?
As Mr Trump noted in his speech, one goal of the Paris Agreement was to raise $100bn (£77.7bn) a year by 2020 to support climate action in developing countries, first discussed as a target in 2010. The money would be used to help poorer countries invest in green energy and renewable technology.
The Green Climate Fund is one mechanism set up to raise money to reach that annual target.
Which countries have pledged the most?
US - $3bn (£2.3bn)
Japan - $1.5bn (£1.2bn)
UK - $1.2bn (£931m)
France - $1bn (£776m)
Germany - $1bn (£776m)
American soft power, the Paris Agreement, and climate finance under Trump
ANNUAL U.S. FUNDING OF $2.7 BILLION AMOUNTS TO A BARGAIN
For the past few years, the Obama administration has been delivering about $2.7 billion per year in climate finance to help developing nations avoid the worst effects and cut back on their emissions of greenhouse gases, which in the context of overall global needs is tiny.
More hysterical BS from our American correspondent.
One thing I am TOTALLY opposed to is this nonsensical idea of 'Green Credits', ie where a major industry that pours out all sorts of muck buys a few trees and plants them somewhere else but does NOTHING to reduce the output that has caused them to buy 'Green Credits' in the first place !!!
CLEAN up YOUR ACT where you live and you wont have to buy 'Green Credits'!!!
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

I'm glad I haven't "winterised" our swampy yet.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

cmangle, you still seem to be having trouble with these concepts. Hope this helps.
Not confused or having trouble at all Onefella!
You want to say the correct terminology is climate? Fine!
You want to call it weather, Fine.
I just know that PRESIDENT Trump pulled out of the Paris Accord, and saved the US taxpayer $100,000,000.00 TAXPAYER dollars anually, and we've had MASSIVE snowfall during the SPRING month of April!
The US TAXPAYER is $100,000,000.00 billion dollars richer because Bahamas decided to have US citizen and the world believe in Al Gore, and PRESIDENT Trump did not!
Tell me, would the TAXPAYERS of Oz enjoy a $100,000,000.00 billion dollar kick back on the taxes they pay EVERY YEAR?
cmangle (26-04-18)
Fandtm666, No not al all, it's been 36 years since a dusting occurred in April, in South Jersey.
I can't remember EVER having this many April snows in the north eastern US, March yes, but not April.
Since 1950 there has been only ONE April snow storm in SJ.
April 6-7, 1982 - less than 4 inches over the New Jersey's/Atlantic City southern half.
Prior major April snowstorms in the NYC area , April 12-14, 1875: 10 inches, April 3-4, 1915: 10.5 inches, April 8-9, 1917: 6.5 inches, April 1, 1924: 8.5 inches, April 6-7, 1938: 6.4 inches, April 5, 1944: 6.5 inches, April 6, 1982: 9.6 inches
"The worst 25 snowstorms in the Northeast in the past 60 years, ranked" NONE were in April, only 2 in March!
point proven then mate you have not had weather like that in donkeys
and as others have tried illustrating that by having warmer weather
in one spot will cause higher temp thermals through the arctic poles
etc bringing colder weather than is usual in other places.
just because your illustrious Muppet say something dont mean jack

'Winterizing' for me consists of getting the firewood cut, split, undercover and sorting out the fleecy clothes for the frosty mornings that should appear in the next month or so.
cmangle (27-04-18)
I have never heard an Evaporative Air Cooler called a 'SWAMPY' before.
I dont know in what part of Oz Skepticist lives in but we should have had at least a showing of a Frost even if only around creeks or channels but NOTHING yet.
As a note, The Turon River that runs through the Gold Mining Town of Hill End NSW has run DRY. This is not new but when this had happened before, digging into the River Bed has allowed water to be pumped out even if only for Flushing the Loo (Tanks for Drinking Water) but not this Year.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
