Default Australian dog receives police honours for keeping lost child safe

With all the crap happening around the world, filling the news these days, I thought this was a great story about a deaf and partially blind dog that kept a lost three-year-old girl safe in Australian bushland overnight and was awarded police honours Saturday after leading rescuers to the child.

    Well done Max!!!

Saw that on the news. Blueys are great pets and VERY loyal. It's ok if you live with them, but heaven help any "stranger" who meets one. Reds are even worse.

    I know the feeling.
I had seven stitches after a red one bit me around my ankle and got infected.
