It was call the green pages and it allowed reverse lookup (search by number).
Do know if its still available
I have a reverse lookup database on my computer.
Got sick of the online ones getting shut down so I set up my own.
PM me the number and i'll look it up.
No mobiles, landline numbers only.
Greypages if you can't get the other one.
Hi,
Grandkids wanted to get a Domino's Pizza, so I rang up to order and the girl asked for my phone No. and I told her the No. and within 10 seconds she said " would that be Mr. ****** and I said yes.
Does Dominos have a "reverse Look-up" database?.......is that legal?
How can I get that database? LOL.
Just tried it with several Nos, works fine. There is an "under construction" sort of sign there as well.
f you're interested in using the Greypages data in other projects, or would just like to make a comment, please send mail to ausgreypages (at) gmail.com.
An XML interface is being developed to allow external applications to utilise the reverse and forward lookup features of the Greypages.
Also expect some downtime or general quirks as the site is in a constant state of development at the moment.
Regarding TELSTRA:
By the way, when first introduced, it was mooted as FULL Caller ID. Now they've found they have a big market with the ' Tele-marketers'. When I checked at that time, they wanted $500 so I settled for the 'Green Pages".
Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".
Pitty you cant get DTMS disc's any more, telstra tried to sue there arse and they can no longer produce the disc
Greypages doesn't currently like MS Internet Explorer however it works well with FireFox
