    Default Freesat V8 Golden Combo

Guys I'm running a Freesat V8 and recently had a V7 hooked up.
I have a few dishes but we'll work off the 2.3m CBand, currently with a 'standard' Zinwell.
Now I've just noticed that I'm NOT getting some signals from 'some' Sats.
I think my issue could be with DVB-S2's
Now it started a while back and I didn't pick up on it.
When I first got my V7 and started loading channels, I noticed I hardly got anything from Measat 3.
In the past [My Octagon SF917 - now stuffed] I could get tonnes of channels. Everything.
Now, maybe 20. I put it down to my dish might've moved a bit.
Then as I go through a few Sats, not as many channels as I thought.
Now today I decided to investigate.
    Asiasat 7
Cant get a signal for this :
    4000 H 29720 5/6
    DVB-S2 Mpeg4 / HD

Now on Intelsat 19 I get ALL CBand signals
    4040 V 30000 3/4
    DVB-S2 Mpeg4 / HD

Now this is the case with either the V7 or V8. I don't recall having issues in the past with other boxes.
Cant figure out where my problem lies. Both signal there appear to me to be very similar but I only receive one.
The one from Asiasat 7 is not flakey or weak, its just not there.
On that Sat there are 3 more signals that get DVB-S2 and I get none. I get very strong signal for everything else on that Sat.

I just don't know where to investigate. I reckon the Dish is set almost perfect.
I'm actually waiting for a new CBand/KU LNB in the Mail. But I cant fugure out why that would be the issue.
My box picks up the same type of signals on other Sats.

    ??????

I have found DVB-S2 is more sensitive to signal strength(depending on symbol rate) higher symbol usually needs more signal . I have found in the past when LNB-Fs get older the signal degrades so a new LNB-F wont hurt .
One thing I have noticed V7, V7max and V8 tuners seem to be less sensitive than other brand receivers. ( although the V7 Combo seems to pick up more for me on measat)

Ok, this does make some sense. I did remove my 'original' CBand/KU combo LNB which I noticed the c was damaged. Hence getting a replacement. That's the LNB I did pick everything up with. I've since (3months) banged zinwell in that I have never used before. Hence this is now where I'm seeing issues.
So I think your 100% correct. When I replace LNB (hopefully bloody soon) I'd expect different strengths etc.
Cheers, I was hoping that was my main issue. Didn't want to waste a tonne of time tweaking stuff.
    Thanks !!

Just noticed that you are using a Zinwell LNB-F these are one off the worst performers on the market. (even EBAY cheapies perform better) I would almost guarantee that a new different brand LNB-F will sort it for you
