No problem Gordon, I should have actually given the other thread a better name ( might do that now). Will merge the threads, your one has a better name. I was in a bad mood when I made it

I would just like to say thanks to the people here who have signed it. Like many, I also dislike these type of petitions but sometimes you just dont have a choice.

Today I made a formal 4 page complaint to the Australian Human Rights Commission. I better go and buy a suit, as I am young Linton's appointed advocate.

The local paper have been great, last weeks front page story drew a lot of interest and after pleading from me, they have agreed to do a follow up story based on my AHRC complaint.

If anyone happens to know a QC that works pro bono, I am quite happy to be relegated to "" status.

If anyone can share that petition to any social media pages, it would be greatly appreciated. Its going along well, and we need it to keep ticking over.

Things are hotting up. I have been bombarding disability groups, local MP's, the AFL Players Association, Umpires association....I could go on forever with who I have harassed

We have now been contacted by the Melbourne Herald Sun who have said they want the story, I am waiting to hear back from a reporter today.

I have contacted over 100 different people and groups, and most wont touch the issue. We wont give up of course and just added an update.

We are still going them, but boy are we up against it. As mentioned, young Linton got a short run in the last quarter of the seconds. As you can see from the video, it was smiles all round and you can see the genuine affection of his team mates. Well , most people can, that ####wit John Anderson from the AFL cant.

However, it would seem that some permits are being issued to others with disabilities. The poo may soon hit the fan, and I will be more than happy to throw it

What I find so disgraceful is all the Bullshit being plastered about proclaiming to support anyone with a 'disability' to be part of everyday life but when 'Push comes to Shove', those supporting this principle seem to have a different agenda.
Playing Sport is as much a part of fitting in with everyday life as is finding some kind of occupation for him in the future.

I cannot understand how anyone involved in aiding and assisting any form of disability would not support, at least in principle, permission for Linton Hardy to play under suitable guidelines.

Unfortunately not a lot has happened since. The media amaze me with their not interested view.......I have contacted literally every person of profile I can find , lefties, righties, politicians, talk shows, the lot. No one gives a shit.....that's about it.

There has been a small stir up in the league, they have still been giving out permits and one guy (who holds a position in Junior Football) asked why Linton hadn't been given one. No real answer.

    I admire your persistence...

    1. If you had money, you could take them to court and probably win. Or if not, force them to publicly state their reasons which would probably embarrass them severely.

    2. If he was female, the outraged sisterhood would have loudly demanded equality for him.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
