    Default Security System Reset

    Hi all,

    I've moved into a house with what appears to be a relatively 'new' C&K 236I security system (8-700-198-03 v5.0) with no codes. I've tried the power on master code technique to no-avail. Is it worth trying to acquire something to reset it? Are there any alternate options to replace this unit with something more modern and keep the existing sensors / siren et al?

    Could replace with a Bosch 2000 or 3000 panel.
