I wouldn't find this at all hard to believe. But the site linked to is hardly credible. Normally I am pointing out links to left wing biased sites. But the source on this is hardly credible. I also did a Google search and could not find any MSM links whatsoever. Sarah Palin tweeted about it, but her source also seemed to be some right-wing news site.

So far as I can see the source of the report is a tweet by one Raman Ghavami who describes himself on Twitter as: "Middle East Analyst & Russia ME strategy. Insurgency & Counter-Insurgency. Tweets in Farsi,Kurdish, Turkish,Aabic @myfairobserver @Jerusalem_Post @TheRegionOrg"

That would be interesting.

On an admittedly cursory look I haven't been able to trace anything back before this tweet, which doesn't tell us which aid said what where. I'm not a fan of main stream media, but I can see why they haven't published anything about this so far. On the other hand would this source actually have made it up with no basis? Twitter is more like an open sewer than a credible source of news. Best wait and see.

Whether the report is true or not. If this has happened (and I wouldn't be surprised) there would be more than a few public "servants" quaking in their boots. Somehow, I don't think that Iran would be clever enough to even consider this as possibility. YES they probably did pay Bribes, did they keep evidence? Unlikely.
