    Default Eutelsat 172B

Has anyone noticed a power drop on Transponder 13 for 4160V on Eutelsat at 172 east. Yes I cant lock on it anymore. Everything else seems to be ok.

    Yes
I had to re skew the LNB a little again to get it but at the loss of some grunt on Horizontal transponders on All satellites. This mainly Effects Asiasat 5 to Palapa and up to Apstar at 138 deg E. where I lose some grunt on Horz.

Do you use the dish to get channels from 91.5 Measat to Asiasat 5 to Intelsat at 166 deg than Eutelsat 172B @ 172Deg E

Yes but even a bit lower 76.5E Apstar 7 and a bit higher 177.0W NSS9

Is it a drop in power or could you have local interference?

Unrelated to the signal strength... But can I ask what's up on that transponder, it's unusual to see local companies leasing transponder space on C-Band.
Like what kind of feeds anything good?

I cant watch it as its Encrypted on Eutlelsat 172 East but I still would like to know why when I get a lock on 4160 V on Eutelsat 172 B I loose power level (90%) on vertical most Satellites from Asiasat 5 @ 100 Deg E to Telstar 18 @ 138 Deg E. Now On Vinasat 1 on 132 Deg E it has only Vertical transponders on C Band and it increases a little on the CNR.
Now even on the Effected Satellite on Eutelsat 172B If I skew the LNB to suit the Vertical on 4159V (LOCKS ON) I lose a little on the HOPE Channel (3916H) it goes from 95 CNR to 88 CNR. You can see that even H on this bird is effected by skewing the LNB to suit the V 4159.
In brief just to get this transponder 4159 or 4160 it loses a little on power on ALL HORIZONTAL Transponders on ALL SATELLITES along the whole arch from 100 deg to 172 E but I have notices that along the whole arch some Vertical Transponders have a little more CNR
I still say that the V in Eutelsat 172 is set wrong or off axis. I had it going for 2 months until they dropped the Second ADHOC Channel and possible dropped the power level.
    Maybe MTV can answer this.
