    Default Heuwei P20 pro review......

Only had the mate 10 pro a few months, but couldn't resist the new camera on the p20.....

The p20 is pretty much exactly the same size as the mate 10, but just a little more screen area.

Major difference is camera and the fingerprint sensor is back on the front.

Running Android 8.1 and emui 8.1 with face recognition.
The next software update to the mate will add these features.

So pretty much the only difference is the camera and bigger battery...

No wireless charging but with the quick charging it's not needed.
No headphone socket, but it comes with a USBC adaptor. Why waste space with a legacy socket.

It's the final countdown here in Perth......

Low light photography is pretty impressive...

They could have called this the mate 11 pro....

They will probably drop one of the two lines as they are now the same phone....

The p30 is due in February 2019, apparently.

During the interval last night I got a tap on the shoulder from the Sheila sitting behind me.
She asked me what type of camera I was using as the photos were so clear. I told her it was the new heuwei phone.
It's a phone? Wow it takes good photos, I can't get a decent photo with my iPhone .
She hadn't heard of heuwei, so I told her I went from Apple to Samsung to heuwei over the years.
She reckoned she was going to JB hi-fi to check it out.......
Maybe a sign of things to come ?

May as well give our personal data to the Chinese as well as Google...

...Sorry wrong, thread. Thought it was a continuation(page2) of the Mate 10 Pro.

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.

Phone just did an update to latest firmware, so it looks like Huawei are going to look after their Aussie customers.....

    Mainly security updates...
