Watching live coverage of a mass school shooting at Santa-Fe High School.

Something i've noticed, which i found interesting
It hasn't been covered by any of the usual news outlets on TV all night or this morning
Its all been the Royal Wedding
Have we finally come to the day where US High School Shootings are just a non event?
Or has their been a deliberate move by media outlets not to sensationalise this attacks anymore?
Either way, it is refreshing its not being plastered all over the news, should be more of it.

probably along the lines "guns don't kill people, people kill people"
which probably should end with "people with guns kill people"
it's also sad to think that the recent Osmington "" - 6 murdered and 1 suicide - was Australia's largest mass killing with a gun since the 1996 change of gun laws
but hey - "it's their god given right to bear arms" and the NRA has huge political pressure - so again it will come to pass as a mark in history with no change

It'll be OK.
After all, the politicians thoughts and prayers will go out to the families of the victims (AGAIN).
And like always, thoughts and prayers by liars and charlatans never work. Funny that.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
Has there been many Black school shooters?
Seems the majority are white (not that it would matter)
But in a world where so many Blacks are shot by US Police, seems a lot of Whites doing the shootings at schools.
Probably why this kid is still alive now some might suggest... A different coloured skin might have seen him brown bread.

I liked El Presidento Trump's fending off calls for Gun control by saying the UK has a problem with a large number of stabbings occurring in recent times.
I wasnt sure however if he was meaning if more Brits had Guns like the Yanks, it might diminish these stabbings or not.
I do agree there have been far too many stabbings and the UK needs to really look at its Laws regarding the carrying of such items and reduce them ASAP !!
While knives are deadly, usually they can only inflict harm on a few at a time whereas a Gun can harm many at once and from some distance.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
The latest info confirms 10 dead and 10 wounded.
It's the second school shooting this week, the other being at a Georgia high school, with one dead and one injured.
It's the third school shooting this month.
So far in 2018 there have been 16 school shootings in America, equaling the record yearly total for 2014.... and it's only May!
According to the Washington Post database, there has been 220 school shootings in America since the April 1999 shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton.
President Trump continually touts the Washington Post as "fake news" along with every other media that publishes stories about Trump that he doesn't like, regardless if they are proven factual.
We've heard the usual guff from Trump of thoughts and prayers and pledges to do everything possible to protect kids in schools, but no doubt his definition of what is 'possible' doesn't actually include restricting gun ownership/accessibility to a level that substantially reduces the risk.
After the Parkland shooting in February, Trump vowed to challenge both the National Rifle Association and his Republican allies in Congress by taking major action to improve school safety and impose new restrictions on guns, but bowed to political pressure from the NRA at their meeting earlier this month, stating their Second Amendment rights would “never ever be under siege as long as I am your president.”
Sadly, shootings such as these will continue unimpeded until such time as politicians place children's lives ahead of votes.
Hopefully, public opinion will be become such that politicians will actually make good on promises to protect children and the general public and change their archaic constitution.
Sadly, I don't see that happening in my lifetime.
It has always been known that being a police officer carries a danger of being killed one day in the line of duty. It is a risk every officer takes when they go to work each day, knowing they might not go home afterward.
Tragically, parents simply sending their kids to school carries that same risk.
Which school will be next?
Where is Cmangle?
Should I say. Ho Hum, another day, another massacre in America. They'd better start breeding or there'll be none of 'em left.
There is no solution until those in power decide to make some unpopular decisions.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Late night TV host, Jimmy Kimmel has expressed the same view as I mentioned.
“President Trump said he is ‘with the people of Santa Fe in this tragic hour and will be with them forever…’ except for when it comes to doing something, then he will not,” he continued.
“Neither will any of the Governors or members of Congress who don’t ever do anything because they are fearful that it will hurt them politically. They’re too cowardly to do the right thing.
They care more about the support of the NRA than they do about children,” Kimmel said.
