Default Delay number 4 on nbn rollout

We have been waiting and waiting for nbn to come to 3081, our adsl2+ is crap right on the exchange limits

Originally the nbn rollout had us for sept to dec 2017
Up until yesterday it had been revised to jun to aug 2018
Fibre is installed in the street and has been for over a month so it was looking positive and in sight
Tonight just checked again and its sept to dec 2018
FFS, no accountability they just keep moving the posts

    No other options here

We wait, not patiently that went a long time ago

    Rant mode off

    Cheers
    Mike

At least you have a date..... I'm not holding my breath here. I'm just happy to have ADSL, It's only been 13 years since we got that!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

most have NBN in my estated apart from my street and a couple around me. Further out in a new subdivision, they have it because they are fibre.
My area had NBN switched on Jan 2017. I've had a couple of ETA's with the current one being next month. Apparently they need to install a micro node because we are too far from the newly installed node!! Wouldn't you install it in such a location so everyone could connect to it? Dick heads!!

Telstra did their fibre aroundthe corner from me many years ago for foxtel, never did our street. We originally had optus hybrid cable tv but not internet. Cancelled that 10 years ago to go foxtel satellite
Hybrid cable still there for optus but they won’t connect internet for me so stuck with crappy adsl2+ service that is so slow if it rains if it works at all

    Hurry up Mr NBN

I heard the NBC head honcho on radio the other saying that over 70% of NBN connections were capable of >50Mbps. After that B.S. if you believe anything they say you must think there are fairies at the bottom of the garden.

What a great idea, just locate the node "so everyone could connect to it", we'll just ignore where the existing copper runs, the location of the pillar, access to power, all of that, and just put it where "everyone could connect to it".

    I know the feeling.

Advised HFC due January 2017. Delayed until July 2017. Delayed again until December 2017.

The HFC freeze then came into effect, and all dates were cancelled.

HFC came back online, and the date was August 2018. Shortly after it got switched to FTTC, date pushed out to March 2019.

It’s now FTTC, due June 2020.

At least Optus cable is now super fast - I’m one of the only buggers left on it.

Optus say that their cable no longer works in my street so screwed again
Been looking at all the 50mb wireless options and no one supports the MIDDLE of my street, to the left ok, to the right ok but not me.... conspiracy !

Adsl is almost useless here when it rains

    Frustrating

We got the letter from Mr Telstra about 2 months ago so again hopes were raised

Msybe I can sue them for raising expectations to have them dashed a fifth time now 😜😜

I got a little p’d off so i sent a complaint to nbn co

After a week, this is what I received

The rollout of the nbn™ network in your area is subject to change. All dates provided are purely indicative. We donot have access to site specific information as to why there has been a delay unfortunately.

To keep up to date on the latest updates as to when the nbn™ network will be available in your area you can register with us via the rollout map and we'll be in touch when you are able to connect.

If you require further information, please reply to this email and a consultant will be happy to assist you.

    Kind Regards,

    Brent

Absolutely f’ing useless form email reply, not addressing my specific issue about 5 date changes now the last being 3 weeks from the beginning of the propossed starting timelines
