Default Urgent help please - Bosch Solution 880 alarm

    Hi Guys,

I am new to the form and I really need some help.

I have a BOSCH Solution 880 alarm and just recently is started to beep every minute.

I followed the user manual and have identified I have a checksum fault. Can anyone tell me what I need to fix it.

Each night the alarm beeps around 3am every day and I have get up and accept the error.

I have looked on the internet to see if there is anything written about how one would fix it but I haven't found anything.

So was really hoping someone on the forum can help me

    Thanks

    Thanks for your help.

I actually replaced the battery with a new one as I thought that may have been the problem originally but that didn't fix it

Sometimes a programming default and power cycle may correct the issue. A security tech would probably need to do this and re-program the alarm again.
Does the number 6 show when in fault analysis mode?

Thanks so much for the reply. Yeah it does. When the alarms starts beeping I press 5 twice to determine the error and then zone 2 indicator comes up. Then when I hit 2, the 6 comes up. Any idea what I can do as its keeping the family up and waking my baby son up

Are you sure on panel type? 880 or Ultima 880.
If you press 5 to show fault and 2 comes up first then 6 sounds like an ultima 880 with wireless sensors indicating zone 6 sensor has a low battery.

Hi I took the battery out of the zone 6 sensor and now when I hold down the 5 the system is flashing zone 2 & 3. When I hit the for zone 2 its returning 6 and the same when I hit 3 its returning a 6. So do I just replace the batteries in the zone 6 sensors and it will be fine ?
