Default SuperJack Actuator HARL 3624+ Satellite Dish Motor. Is it really 24 inch?

They say that the SuperJack Actuator HARL 3624+ Satellite Dish Motor is 24 inch stroke. Now I'm using,,, well I though I was using a 36 in actuator but I just measured my 36 actuator and the STEEL TUBE itself from where the rubber is where it stop the water getting in and on the end to the motor side where it goes into the motor itself and is clamped by that bolt is 740MM or 2ft 5 and a half inches. Now this cant be a 36 inch actuator so what is it?
Can some tell the the EXACT measurement of a SuperJack Actuator HARL 3624. Yes a 24 inch one, as I have measure my distance traveled from Measat 3 @ 91.5 deg E to NSS 9 @ 177 deg W and its 395MM or 15 3/4 inch which is under 24 inch so I need to know is SuperJack Actuator HARL 3624+ which is 24 inches does it travel from one limit ( Fully in) to the other limit switch (Fully out) is it 24 inches or less and if less how much less is it.

Something is wrong here, or I got Confused? or something else.

HARL is the regular jack with reed sensor as opposed QUARL the heavy duty actuator.
36 stands for the Voltage needed to drive it being 36 VDC
24 stands for the actuator travel being 24" or 600mm

Yes I hope this is the case as 24inch or 600MM is 600 MM or 24 inch and not less than that as I would say the 2 foot one will be ok. I think the HARL will be ok for a 2.3M regular oiled dish moving freely.
