    Default mirroring software.

    Hi,

I have 2 x NAS systems. One is 8 TB the other 16 TB. The 8 TB is raid 5, the 16 TB is JBOD. They are Netgear RadeyNas's.

I download files to the 8 TB and manually copy across to the 16 TB which forms the storage for my PC based PLEX server.

I have tried using YADIS but strangely it doesnt seem to pick up changes in the 8TB files to evoke the copying across to the 16 TB.

So, I am on the hunt for a simple mirroring software that will mirror across networked drives.

    Thanks for the look in

Assume you're doing the 'mirroring' from a 3rd PC? if so,.. robocopy is used by a lotta folk.

Thanks for that. I will take a look.

I did find one application, allwaycopy. Seems to be ok. I am testing on a 3rd NAS just to be sure there is no loss of files.

Allways Synch ad Go is one such product I have played with in the past, can't recall if it does what you require but might be worth a look
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

If you're not looking for full automation (like rsync), then I've used FlashFXP in the past to create ftp sessions between both NAS'. Not the prettiest solution, but it definitely works. Just have to remember to run it.
