    Default Facebook privacy

    Hi all,

I just installed Privacy Badger about 5 days ago. Facebook, which I have never used, is following my every site visit.

I did not realize how much Facebook tracks my every move.

Anyhooooo this is just a heads up for those in this forum, who like me, are concerned about privacy.

    Luv to all

PS Yahoo mail is almost as bad .......
Buy cheap and pay often, - there is no substitute for stupidity.

You wipe your bum after each crap, why don't you clean your teeth after every meal?

There is no shame in being uneducated nor in being stupid.
The true shame lies in knowing that you are and doing nothing about it.

Only the living worry about dying.

To the tobacco addicts - Smoke more and die sooner, so I can breathe fresh air. Thank you.

Impossible to avoid Facebook , literally

Just by visiting a website that might have a Facebook like / share button ( almost all websites ) you are subject to data being retained, Even if you don’t click on the buttons ,

Data such as location , ip , Mac addresses for the purposes of security and advertising etc etc ,

If was discussed in the latest US senate talks with Zuckerberg

I don’t use Facebook and cannot understand the fascination some have with it, however when one considers ‘privacy’ there are some things that need to be put in context.

The public internet is not private, nor is it, at its most basic, secure. Consider it to be a public place, where you can (and will) be tracked, followed, photographed and badgered by others.

One cannot expect to be in a public place and not be visible, and being on the public internet is no different.

    Absolutely.

Its ironic that someone would complain about Facebook, while Google has enough info to write a book on them.

notes that if an advertiser makes a commitment to respect Do Not Track requests, their cookies will be unblocked from Privacy Badger

    Too easy
